in Memory of Lt. Gen. and Mrs. Charles G. Cooper, USMC.
THE DREAM
Our moonshot goal, with your support, is to one day build a campus (tentatively called Camp Spartan) where recipients, their families and Operation C4 mentors can come together to learn, share, grow, bond and make a better world one conversation at a time. First names only. Memories for life.
MISSION
To identify and recognize deserving ROTC students and young military officers while preparing them to be strong leaders both in and out of uniform.
We're looking for The Underdog, The Dreamer, The Rebel, The Wily Introvert, The Hidden Talent.
VISION
We’d like to give recipients the ability to experience activities outside of the military establishment, experiences they will hopefully treasure for years to come. Recipients must be hard working, honest with their faults, and willing to help others. Most importantly, they must have the inherent ability to become great leaders through faithful service to their country and their troops.
A key component of this program is our annual retreat. Set over 3-4 days, recipients past and present will be invited, along with select guests, to network, discuss current goings-on, and enjoy some good old fashioned family bonding.
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be either on active military duty or enrolled at a four-year college and be part of one of their ROTC units.
We are looking for intangibles that are not always apparent on a standard resume.
4/C through 1/C midshipmen and cadets will be considered.
SCHOLARSHIP
OPERATION C4 will award $500-2,000 scholarships to applicants whom the selection committee feels best represents the qualities previously mentioned.
MENTORSHIP
The recipient of this award will have lifetime direct access to our network of industry leaders and past recipients.
AWARD DATE
OPERATION C4's scholarship will be awarded each Fall/Spring in coordination with NROTC staff or chain of command.
